THE VIEWS OF ORIENTAL SCHOLARS ON SPEECH DEVELOPMENT AND MOTHER TONGUE EDUCATION

Abstract

This article highlights on the development of speech in the process of mother tongue education, the requirements for student’s speech, the views of the great scholars of the East on speech development and their great contribution to the development of methods of speech acquisition. In addition, the important pedagogical necessity of studying oral and written speech in the process of mother tongue education and the study of speech in relation to etiquette is considered.
